7 morning rituals that instantly make you happy

If the morning is already crap, the day doesn't need to come at all. With these 7 morning rituals, you'll trick the morning person in you and start your day with a fat grin on your face.
1. do coffee yoga
A sequence of movements that relaxes, makes you happy and awake: press the button while exhaling, place a coffee cup under the machine while inhaling, listen to the sound of the coffee and draw in the scent of coffee with your next breath.... lift the cup with your right hand and bring it evenly to your mouth. Most important ingredient: tell the whole day that you did yoga first thing in the morning. In the end, you will believe yourself and it will work as well as a placebo works: excellent.

2. make your bed beautiful
Simply because it makes your brain believe that you have already done something. It makes you proud and happy!

3. practice reframing
Great word, old psychological trick. Studies prove that basically, almost EVERYTHING is a matter of attitude. Your shower is cold? Great, that wakes you up! Your kid hits you in the nose with a matchbox car? Lucky it didn't go in your eye. You can put a positive spin on just about anything. You can start right away with the alarm clock ringing. After all, it's great that it rings at all. Uh...

4. awaken the Italian in you
Big gestures, chin up... according to science, this posture makes you happy.

5. five minutes of fresh air
The best way to start the day is with five quiet minutes in the fresh air. Whether by the window, on the balcony, or in the garden, it doesn't matter. Best combined with coffee yoga.

6. cell phone on airplane mode until you leave the house
Check your Whatsapp right after you get up? Read the news? No way. Your own little world is big enough in the morning.

7. get up earlier than you have to
10 minutes more sleep helps you so much less than 10 minutes more time to get ready. It's just the way it is. Always.

Tip: How you can get up early easier, we explain here.
