TRIED With EMSculpt to a firm belly

EMSculpt is a new procedure that uses electromagnetic vibrations to tone muscles in the shortest possible time - without surgery, injections, or long downtimes. Whether and how the whole thing works?
A flat, toned abdomen without a blatant workout, without sweating, without dieting or doing without anything, with only a minimum of time - and without any surgery at all? I'm in! For years I've despaired of my flab, which stubbornly clings to my belly and hips. And this even though I train harder than Rambo. No matter how many crunches and sit-ups I do, I just can't seem to get a six-pack. EMSculpt is supposed to change that in no time.

EMSculpt: How does it work?
  • Electromagnetic energy triggers contractions in the abdominal muscles, which are supposed to provide muscle growth and firm tissue.
  • But what good are abdominal muscles if they are hidden under a layer of flab? This is also where the innovative body tuning method comes in. EMSculpt is designed not only to strengthen muscles but also to melt fat.
  • The high energy requirement results in the extensive release of fatty acids, which causes numerous fat cells to die off and reduces the fat deposits.
  • This is what Dr. Klaus Hoffmann, head of the Department of Aesthetic Surgical Medicine and Center for Laser Medicine (ZELM) at the University Hospital of the Ruhr University Bochum, tells me. Up to 16 percent more muscle mass and 19 percent less abdominal fat should be possible in this way.

To achieve the desired results, three to four treatments of 30 minutes each are recommended, performed at intervals of two to three days.

Relaxed to a six-pack
I test EMSculpt with Dr. Afschin Fatemi, dermatology specialist and founder of the S-thetic Clinic Group. Relaxed, I take a seat on the couch in the treatment room. A device is fixed to my stomach with a strap that visually reminds me of the shape of an iron. It starts! Electromagnetic impulses make my body twitch without my intervention and feel like a mixture of jackhammer and staple gun - but painless. I'm irritated and have to get used to the new kind of training.

No diet stress, no sweating
To support the treatment, Dr. Afschin Fatemi recommends that I eat a high-protein diet, such as cottage cheese, meat, fish or protein shakes.

Dr. Afschin Fatemi: "I don't advise going on a real diet. Because if you starve yourself, it's much harder to build muscle."
He also says an extra workout is not necessary. With one to two fitness units per week, the effects, which by the way only set in six to eight weeks after training, could be maintained in the long term.

How does EMSculpt differ from EMS training?
While in the EMSculpt treatment the electric shocks act on the whole muscle and put it under much greater strain, the EMS workout uses stimulation current, which only stresses the muscle layer superficially. With EMSculpt, the muscles are used 100 percent of the time. In a normal workout, I would get a maximum of 40 percent.

EMSculpt: Conclusion
EMSculpt is the speed solution for everyone who wants a firm summer body.

Six weeks after the training, my abdominal circumference was reduced from 74 centimeters to 72 centimeters. Visually, it still doesn't resemble a six-pack, but it has become visibly flatter. Also, I'm in much better shape and can do my abdominal leg-bo training without back pain.
