This simple sleep habit will make you successful

Some are early birds, others night owls. Some need their nine hours of sleep, while six is enough for others. But there is one sleep rule that applies to everyone.
There are at least as many different opinions and tips on the subject of sleep as there are on raising children. And in both cases, although we can learn something from every piece of wise advice, we each have to figure out the best way for ourselves. After all, everyone's internal clock ticks differently, and how we reconcile our individual biological rhythm with society's (working hours, lunch time, etc.) is one of the great challenges of our lives. BUT ...!

This sleep rule is valid for all of us
There is at least one sleep rule that apparently applies to all people, and it can even be formulated in just one word: Regularity! Those who go to bed at the same time every night (and ideally also get up at the same time in the morning) are the most efficient. And thus also the most successful, because that's how it usually works for the "normal people" of this world (in contrast to celebrities and lucky people).

This finding is now also suggested by a study of the "Brigham and Women's Hospital" in Boston. The researchers specifically investigated the connection between a regular sleep rhythm and success. For 30 days, they documented the sleep routines of 61 students at Harvard University, and the results were clear: those who went to bed at roughly the same time every day had significantly better grades than the irregular sleepers.

Everyone agrees on this
Those who are well rested will now surely say: 61 test participants are not particularly many to derive a rule from. We agree, of course. However, this is by no means the only study that has shown continuity in the sleep routine to be a recipe for success. As much as sleep researchers disagree on the details of sleep, most of them agree on this point: If you've found the perfect compromise between your inner clock and the usual office hours, it's best to take it to heart every day.

Even if we take a look at the bedtimes of successful women, we will notice one thing in common first and foremost: They all have (relatively) fixed times. But a little flexibility for special occasions (Oscars, Met Gala ...) is of course always possible!
